What you'll do

  • Assist with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
  • Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of robots and automated components.
  • Commission and deploy new automation installations through field trials.
  • Document actions and findings in reports for new automation deployments.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot defects or bugs within automated systems.
  • Complete repairs and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain the inventory of tools and supplies used for testing and maintenance.

What we're looking for

  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Associate's Degree in a technical training major (preferred).
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines (preferred).
  • Technical skills including troubleshooting, control systems, and test documentation (preferred).
  • Basic skills in analytical or scientific methods or operational processes.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks and work within defined standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours and on different shifts as required.
