Asset & Wealth Management - Software Engineering - Associate - Dallas joins the Digital Client Experience team to build customer-centered financial products. As a full stack developer, you will drive the design of critical components, oversee new feature implementation, and ensure code quality, automation, and testability. You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to design flows using cloud and on-prem technologies for scalable infrastructure. Key responsibilities include performing code reviews, mentoring junior talent, and contributing to SDLC documentation. The role requires proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, React, and Angular, alongside experience with microservices, API development, Kafka, and NoSQL or relational databases. You will solve complex engineering problems within the Mosaic platform, AM.gs.com, and the Advisor Portal to provide trading, settlement, and analytics solutions.

What you'll do

  • Drive the design of critical technology components and oversee the implementation of new features.
  • Design flows and systems using cloud and on-prem technologies to ensure performance and scalability.
  • Perform code reviews and system design reviews to establish software best practices for distributed systems.
  • Contribute to SDLC documentation, including templates, patterns, and controls.
  • Mentor and develop junior technical talent within the engineering team.
  • Develop and maintain low-latency, high-throughput, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • Build and manage microservices and APIs to support customer-centric financial products.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with design and implementation of low latency, high throughput, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfort with Agile operating models and a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and any of the Rx* variants (preferred).
  • Experience with Kafka, AWS, NoSQL/relational databases, and React or Angular (preferred).
