What you'll do

Lead engineering and deployment of U.S. payment rails including ACH, RTP, FedNow, and Zelle.
Oversee integration and maintenance of SEPA standards for seamless Euro-denominated transactions.
Design high-throughput systems capable of processing consumer transactions with sub-second latency.
Define and guarantee strict SLAs for payment availability and settlement finality.
Implement robust disaster recovery plans to ensure zero data loss in money movement.

What we're looking for

12+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 6 years in senior leadership within Payments or Fintech.
Deep hands-on experience with ACH, RTP, FedNow, Zelle, and SEPA payment rail systems.
Expert knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX, and JSON-based API payment protocols.
Proven track record managing mission-critical systems with strict uptime and performance requirements.
Strong understanding of PSD2, Dodd-Frank, and global money transmitter licensing regulations.
Experience building high-scale cloud-native infrastructure using microservices, Kafka, and distributed databases.
