Asset Lifecycle Management Technician - Data Center

What you'll do

• Assist in receiving and labeling IT equipment while updating asset records.
• Conduct physical audits of racks and storage areas to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare and stage equipment for deployment into production environments.
• Follow data sanitization procedures under supervision for secure disposal.
• Provide parts and spares to Break/Fix teams, logging incidents as needed.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn asset management software systems (CMDB, DCIM, ITSM tools).
• Physical capability to handle equipment in data center environments, including lifting and manual tasks.
• Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate records and chain-of-custody processes.
• Understanding of basic security protocols for handling sensitive IT equipment and data-bearing devices.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and compliance requirements consistently.
