What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable application systems for the Margin Calculation Services and reporting platform.
  • Translate complex business requirements into well-architected technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle from initial analysis through testing and implementation.
  • Provide advanced programming insights and technical support to users and other technology groups.
  • Propose innovative solutions to resolve complex technical challenges and improve system functionality.
  • Implement security measures and conduct post-implementation analysis to ensure optimal system design.
  • Assess and manage technical risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Java application technologies including TDD, Spring framework, and Microservices architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and performance enhancements using multithreading and parallel processing.
  • Experience with Hibernate, Jackson, JAX RS, JPA, JAXB, and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and job scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies and project management techniques.
  • Prior experience or a keen interest in the financial services industry (preferred).
