Assistant Vice President Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst

What you'll do

• Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet specific business needs.
• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning for technology projects.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support for applications to ensure smooth functionality for business users.
• Analyze complex problems and evaluate business processes against industry standards to provide advanced programming solutions.
• Develop security measures in post-implementation analysis to ensure system integrity and safety.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and coach to senior stakeholders and junior team members.
• Manage risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations during the decision-making process.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of application development and leadership experience in the financial services domain.
• Hands-on experience with Full Stack Java and Oracle.
• Experience solving performance issues related to database, ingestions, and exposure.
• Expertise in cloud-native development principles for building resilient, scalable, and observable systems.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes, Scrum, and JIRA.
• Familiarity with AI tools to ensure performant and faster development.
• Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management and project management techniques.
