As an Apps Development Sr Programmer Analyst - Assistant Vice President, you will join the Prime Finance Services team to develop and enhance the proprietary Margin Calculations and Reporting platform. What you'll do

Design, develop, and implement scalable application systems for the Margin Calculation Services and reporting platform.
Translate complex business requirements into well-architected technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle from analysis and design to testing and implementation.
Provide advanced programming insights and technical support to users and other technology groups.
Propose innovative solutions to resolve complex technical challenges and improve system functionality.
Implement security measures and conduct post-implementation analysis to ensure optimal system performance.
Assess and manage technical risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 to 6 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
Strong proficiency in Java core technologies including collections, concurrency, streams, and TDD.
Experience with Spring framework (Core, Batch, Integration, MVC, Boot, Data), Hibernate, and JPA.
Proficiency in RESTful API development, SQL, and Linux environments.
Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed caches like Apache Gemfire, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with messaging systems such as JMS or Kafka and testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
Working knowledge of agile methodologies and project management techniques.
