Apps Dev Tech Senior Lead Analyst - Senior Vice President

What you'll do

• Architect and build scalable data pipelines to ingest and process billions of trade-level risk calculations.
• Develop and optimize large-scale aggregation jobs using Apache Spark for high performance.
• Design and deliver intelligent APIs to provide on-demand access to aggregated and non-aggregated risk data.
• Integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities to create query-based interfaces for data exploration.
• Load and model massive datasets into high-performance OLAP engines like Apache Pinot, Druid, or Trino.
• Build interactive analytical tools and dashboards providing summary views and rapid drill-down capabilities.
• Translate complex risk data from various stress engines into a strategic, accessible data asset.

What we're looking for

• A degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Financial Mathematics, or Financial Engineering.
• Expert-level, hands-on experience with big data technologies, specifically Apache Spark.
• Proven experience with high-performance OLAP databases such as Apache Pinot, Apache Druid, or Trino.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or Scala.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency.
• Strong background in fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
• Experience or a strong interest in applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) to data access and analytics.
• Desirable experience in the financial industry with an understanding of market risk, derivatives, and risk calculations.
