Applications Analyst II, Clinical Ancillary

What you'll do

• Configure, document, implement, and test software solutions to meet end-user workflow requirements.
• Monitor and resolve issues for enterprise applications while serving as an escalation point for junior team members.
• Coordinate with vendors and senior analysts to manage upgrades and plan system enhancements.
• Lead functional, unit, and user acceptance testing for new system go-lives, patches, and updates.
• Manage small to medium projects by translating business requirements into technical build specifications.
• Design reports and prepare presentations regarding project activities and results for stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce repeat issues and improve system efficiencies.
• Mentor junior team members and serve as a resource for internal knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, health informatics, or a related field.
• Three or more years of experience relevant to assigned portfolio in a healthcare setting or related industries.
• Experience maintaining 3rd party applications.
• Ability to communicate and translate complex technical terms into simple terms for all customer groups (preferred).
• Excellent verbal, written, customer service, and project management skills (preferred).
• Ability to mentor and educate junior team members (preferred).
• Experience maintaining clinical non-epic applications such as Provation, Obix, Neruoworks, SentrySuite, or Polysmith (preferred).
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (preferred).
