The Business Applications Analyst II – Communication & Web Platforms is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and technical support of assigned applications and processes to drive operational excellence. Working within the communication and web platforms team, you will analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, develop business requirements, and implement technical solutions while ensuring application security. You will manage change management processes, create detailed documentation like process maps and user guides, and provide Tier 2/3 technical support. The role requires hands-on experience with technologies including ContentStack, WPEngine, GitHub, Vercel, WordPress, and various social media platforms. You will also perform user acceptance testing and coordinate technology implementations. This role focuses on optimizing internal business processes and enhancing productivity through data-driven insights and the integration of new technical solutions to solve organizational challenges.
Analyze existing applications and business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications for system enhancements and new implementations.
Manage the full change management process including risk assessment, testing, and user communication.
Create detailed documentation including process maps, flowcharts, user guides, and technical manuals.
Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of new technology solutions and updates to existing services.
Provide advanced Tier 2/3 technical support and subject matter expertise for assigned applications.
Develop and maintain user acceptance test scripts and coordinate functional testing cycles.
Create training materials and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent workflow practices.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a Business Application Analyst or in a similar role.
2+ years of hands-on technical experience supporting and implementing communication and web platforms like ContentStack, WPEngine, GitHub, Vercel, or WordPress.
2+ years of experience providing Tier 2/3 hands-on application technical support.
Strong documentation skills for creating knowledge base articles, diagrams, and guides for both technical staff and end-users.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and with external vendors.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and manage the change management process.
