Application Developer II, Finance Data Platform

What you'll do

• Own and refine core financial metric definitions to ensure consistent implementation across all dashboards and data products.
• Design, build, and maintain curated data models and views to provide a single source of truth for business performance.
• Develop GenAI-powered self-serve tools like natural-language query interfaces for internal customers to access finance metrics.
• Analyze large-scale financial datasets to identify trends, drivers, and anomalies in revenue, cost, and profitability.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and investment trade-off decisions.
• Define and track KPIs for new products and features to ensure consistent performance measurement over time.
• Improve metric reliability by collaborating on data pipelines and reconciliations between financial systems and analytical datasets.
• Communicate complex analyses and technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical senior leadership.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative and business field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for working with large-scale analytical data warehouses and complex joins/transformations.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or analysis language such as Python or R.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports in modern BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, define metrics, and design analyses end-to-end.
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills to explain complex financial and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or working closely with Finance, FP&A, or Accounting teams (preferred).
• Clear understanding of financial concepts such as revenue recognition, cost allocation, unit economics, and capital allocation (preferred).
