What you'll do

Develop and maintain high-quality production code using Java, Kotlin, MVVM, Dagger, and RxJava.
Design architecture artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all design constraints are met by the software.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and develop non-conventional solutions to improve system stability and scalability.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including security, performance, and peer review protocols.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
Integrate Restful APIs and manage mobile UI fundamentals including layouts and animations.
Implement automated testing strategies using Mockito, JUnit, and Gherkin scripts for UI automation.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Advanced coding proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, security, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying.
Proficiency in mobile UI fundamentals, the Android ecosystem, and architectural patterns like MVVM, MVI, or MVP.
Experience with technical libraries including RxJava, LiveData, State flows, Dagger, Hilt, and Kotlin Coroutines.
Expertise in unit testing frameworks such as Mockito, JUnit, and Gherkin scripts for UI test automation.
