What you'll do

Translate business requirements from finance stakeholders into well-defined analytical requirements and delivery plans.
Build and optimize reliable data pipelines by cleaning, modeling, and querying large financial datasets.
Create and maintain standardized reports, dashboards, and tools to support executive decision-making.
Automate manual processes, such as recurring reports and quality checks, using Alteryx and Python.
Implement strict controls and documentation practices to ensure auditability and data accuracy.
Partner with technology teams to operationalize solutions and transition them into steady-state support.
Produce training materials and documentation to drive user adoption of analytical tools.
Identify and propose iterative improvements based on user experience and recurring pain points.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience delivering analytical solutions, reporting, or data automation work.
Advanced proficiency in Tableau and at least one of Alteryx, SAS, or Python for pipelines and quality control.
Strong SQL skills to build and optimize complex queries across relational and big data systems.
Experience developing reports and conducting analysis using imperfect or disparate data sources with a focus on data quality.
Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Prior experience in financial services (preferred).
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake, and big data tools like Hive (preferred).
