TL;DR · Analytics Engineer, Forecasting & Revenue Intelligence

As an Analytics Engineer, Forecasting & Revenue Intelligence, you will join the Revenue Operations team to build the data models supporting the worldwide sales organization. You will transform sales, subscription, and hierarchy data into tested, documented models that analysts and sales leaders can trust. Your daily responsibilities include building and maintaining dbt models on Snowflake, reconciling data with Salesforce and Finance, and maintaining mappings between accounts, territories, and sellers. You will ensure point-in-time reporting by keeping historical records and building datasets for weekly forecast packs and leadership dashboards. The role requires proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Snowflake, with knowledge of the Salesforce data model. You will use version control, continuous integration, and potentially Python, Airflow, or BI tools like Power BI and Tableau to solve complex revenue intelligence problems.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake to integrate Salesforce, subscription, billing, and hierarchy data.
  • Model data with clear grains, stable keys, and definitions consistent with the shared metric dictionary.
  • Maintain historical data to ensure any published number can be reproduced as it stood on a specific date.
  • Manage the mapping between accounts, territories, sellers, and the sales hierarchy during organizational changes.
  • Reconcile data against Salesforce and Finance records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Build datasets for weekly forecast packs, business reviews, and leadership dashboards.
  • Implement tests and monitoring for data freshness, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Explain data issues and trade-offs to non-technical partners and agree on technical fixes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development building models for others.
  • Experience using dbt in production with tests and documentation.
  • Strong SQL skills, including window functions and incremental models, in a cloud data warehouse like Snowflake.
  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including accounts, opportunities, line items, and ownership.
  • Ability to explain data problems to non-technical stakeholders and reach decisions together.
  • Experience with dbt snapshots or slowly changing dimensions for point-in-time reporting (preferred).
  • Python for transformation or orchestration with Airflow or similar (preferred).
