Analyst, Manufacturing IT will join the Camas Manufacturing IT team to develop, configure, and support manufacturing systems and equipment-connected software within a 24x7 semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role involves configuring MES content in PROMIS, including routes and recipes, while supporting product-transfer qualifications and factory automation. Key responsibilities include building equipment interfaces, managing SECS/GEM data flows, and delivering paperless manufacturing capabilities like electronic run cards and scanners. The position requires hands-on software development, scripting, and SQL skills to query manufacturing and tool data in relational databases. Candidates must understand semiconductor concepts like WIP, lots, and wafers to resolve production-impacting incidents. This role ensures production flow by maintaining traceability, following controlled change discipline, and supporting cybersecurity and data-governance requirements for fab-floor systems.
Configure and test MES content including routes, run cards, recipes, and product data in PROMIS.
Build and support factory automation and equipment integration using SECS/GEM data flows and cell-controller tasks.
Deliver paperless manufacturing capabilities such as electronic run cards, tablets, and production-error-prevention checks.
Resolve production-impacting incidents on live systems and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Develop reporting, WIP visibility, and data-quality enhancements using SQL against manufacturing and tool data.
Support the onboarding of new tools and product transfers by validating equipment integration and data capture.
Maintain production systems following controlled change, testing, and release disciplines to meet cybersecurity and SOX requirements.
What we're looking for
1–3 years of experience developing or supporting manufacturing, equipment-connected, or IT systems (preferred: semiconductor wafer fab or assembly/test operations).
Strong internship or co-op experience will be considered.
Exposure to equipment integration or automation concepts such as SECS/GEM, cell controllers, or MES.
Hands-on software development and scripting ability to read, debug, and extend existing application and integration code.
SQL skills for querying manufacturing and tool data in relational databases.
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing concepts including WIP, lots, wafers, and basic test and yield flows.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
