Day-to-day responsibilities include developing three-horizon roadmaps, providing thought leadership on global trends, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to build a robust banking pipeline. The role requires deep expertise in the banking value chain, including retail, commercial, and corporate banking, as well as core banking modernization, payments, and regulatory reporting within highly regulated financial environments using Frontier AI technologies.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the banking industry subject matter expert to guide digital and AI transformation strategies for strategic customers.
  • Identify and nurture high-value business opportunities by connecting banking outcomes to Microsoft’s cloud, data, and AI capabilities.
  • Develop multi-year roadmaps and vision statements to move customers from isolated AI pilots to enterprise-scale adoption.
  • Engage senior executive decision-makers to advocate for AI-led improvements in areas like risk management, fraud prevention, and core modernization.
  • Translate complex banking requirements into actionable technology solutions involving automated workflows, security, and governance.
  • Collaborate with internal account teams and external partners to build and mature a robust banking sales pipeline.
  • Provide thought leadership on global banking trends to influence market strategy and inform internal product development.
  • Represent the banking perspective in ideation sessions to create shared visions for modernizing operations and customer engagement.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, or Business is accepted as an alternative.
  • Candidates must have 7+ years of customer-facing experience in financial services, management consulting, consultative selling, technology, or equivalent roles if holding a Bachelor's degree.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of customer-facing experience in financial services, management consulting, consultative selling, technology, or equivalent roles if holding a Master's degree.
  • Preferred candidates should have 7+ years of experience in consultative sales, advisory, strategy, business development, transformation, or technology leadership within the banking industry.
  • Candidates should have 5+ years of proven people management and/or leadership experience.
  • Experience working with banking business leaders on transformation opportunities across areas like payments, lending, risk, compliance, and core banking modernization is preferred.
  • Applicants must possess a working knowledge of cloud, data, AI, Frontier AI, automation, security, and modern application capabilities in regulated environments.
