Aladdin Client Transformations, Vice President joins the Aladdin Implementation Team to manage the global installation and deployment of investment portfolio operating systems. This role involves partnering with senior client leadership to redesign and deploy strategic business workflows across the entire investment cycle, including pre-trade decisioning, order management, risk management, and performance measurement. You will lead project plans, conduct workflow design sessions for various asset classes like equities and derivatives, and oversee configuration, testing, and user training. The role requires deep expertise in investment operations, capital markets instruments, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear solutions. Preferred technical skills include experience with SQL, Python, or VBA, alongside a strong understanding of order management systems, electronic trading platforms, and data warehousing. You will solve complex problems by modernizing investment processes and unifying risk reporting frameworks for sophisticated investors.
Lead the installation, deployment, and configuration of Aladdin products for institutional and retail clients.
Partner with client senior leadership to redesign and deploy strategic business workflows across the investment cycle.
Create and manage implementation project plans while coordinating resources across multiple functional areas.
Lead and document workflow design sessions for various asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
Conduct client-specific testing and provide training on Aladdin functionality and features.
Act as a subject matter expert during business development activities, platform demonstrations, and due diligence.
Manage all client communications regarding product changes, configurations, and onboarding processes.
Develop improved internal practices to increase the efficiency of the implementation model.
What we're looking for
Must have 5+ years of relevant industry experience in investment operations, accounting, front office, or investment risk as a provider or practitioner.
Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to convey complex concepts clearly to senior client management.
Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities with a hands-on approach in high-intensity environments.
Must have strong familiarity with capital markets instruments including equities, fixed income, private markets, and derivatives.
Must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills to execute large, complex projects autonomously.
Track record of leading successful implementations of investment technology solutions (preferred).
Experience in risk management, fixed-income, equity, and derivative markets with a solid understanding of the investment lifecycle (preferred).
Programming background or experience with query languages; MBA, CFA, or FRM certifications; and SQL, Python, or VBA skills (preferred).
