What you'll do

  • Lead MDAO initiatives by defining and executing critical trade studies using commercial frameworks.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for MDAO capabilities to deploy multi-fidelity workflows across programs.
  • Design parameterized CAD-based geometry models to enable multidisciplinary analysis.
  • Integrate disciplinary models early in the design process to inform tradespace decisions.
  • Apply cutting-edge AI solutions within MDAO workflows to enhance efficiency and discovery.
  • Identify gaps and bottlenecks in workflows, recommending continuous improvement solutions.
  • Execute automated MDAO workflows including DOE, optimizations, sensitivity analyses, and UQ.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft and/or missile design and analysis.
  • Expertise in developing MDAO methods across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Proven experience in deploying MDAO workflows and toolsets.
  • Proficiency in optimization, sensitivity analysis, UQ, and DOE methods.
  • Ability to apply AI models to enhance or accelerate engineering processes.
  • Strong background in scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) with version control.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex MDAO insights.
