Director, Business and Capacity Planning, Data Analytics

What you'll do

• Develop annual capacity plans across engineering organizations, teams, skills, and geographies.
• Translate business strategy and product priorities into specific engineering capacity requirements.
• Balance headcount, contractors, vendors, automation, and AI-assisted development investments.
• Identify capacity constraints, skill gaps, and organizational bottlenecks to ensure project success.
• Manage the annual planning process from strategic prioritization through resource allocation and execution targets.
• Convert customer project needs into quantifiable demand requirements for workforce sizing and scheduling.
• Research and evaluate emerging tools and techniques to improve forecasting models and production brokering.
• Identify automation opportunities and develop AI/ML models to improve data operation efficiencies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications in a related field (preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in Forecasting, Planning, Data Analyst, or Data Science roles.
• Proficiency in using large scale data analytics to solve complex business problems.
• Understanding of Python or R, SQL, scikit-learn, and forecasting libraries.
• Extensive experience building production-ready models for forecasting applications.
• Ability to condense complex concepts into clear takeaways with superb communication and storytelling skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team and build relationships in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
