The AI Labs Rotational Fellowship, Emerging Talent is a twenty-four-month rotational program within Salesforce AI Labs designed to develop the next generation of AI builders. Fellows rotate through four distinct dimensions of the AI lifecycle: Build, Shape, Deliver, and Transform. Participants will design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered applications, agents, and enterprise solutions while tackling real technical and customer challenges. Key responsibilities include translating customer needs into product strategy, reimagining enterprise workflows, and shipping solutions into production at enterprise scale. Candidates must possess a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering. Required skills include proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI development tools, machine learning concepts, and large-scale compute resources. The role focuses on solving real-world business challenges through conversational AI and process generation.
Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered applications and enterprise solutions to solve real-world challenges.
Collaborate with AI Labs teams to develop cutting-edge capabilities like AI agents and conversational AI.
Partner with field and engineering teams to build and customize AI solutions for enterprise customers.
Take ownership of the end-to-end development lifecycle from initial concept to production deployment.
Translate customer insights and technical discoveries into product improvements and new AI capabilities.
Rotate through product engineering, product management, and customer-facing delivery roles.
Reimagine enterprise workflows and operations by leveraging AI to drive transformation at scale.
What we're looking for
Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
Possess a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software engineering, and technical problem solving.
Have practical coding experience developing software through academic projects, research, internships, professional work, or independent technical projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in Python and experience building software, AI, or machine learning applications.
Understand core AI/ML concepts and have experience using modern AI development tools to accelerate experimentation and problem solving.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to enterprise stakeholders and external clients.
Provide a portfolio of building, deploying, or open-sourcing software or AI applications through projects, research, hackathons, internships, or public repositories (preferred).
Have up to 2 years of internship or professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or solutions architecture (preferred).
