What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions for enterprise-scale mission systems.
  • Build and implement scalable data pipelines including transformation, validation, and error handling.
  • Write advanced SQL and PL/SQL for stored procedures, complex queries, and performance tuning.
  • Manage geospatial data using vector and raster formats.
  • Develop AI-enabled data platforms using vector embeddings and RAG workflows.
  • Automate data processing tasks using Python and shell scripting.
  • Implement database security controls, auditing, and data governance standards.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance with Poly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in database development, data engineering, or ETL/ELT development for enterprise-scale systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Database solutions.
  • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including stored procedures, packages, complex queries, and performance optimization.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, including data transformation, validation, error handling, and operational monitoring.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, or comparable tools for automation and data processing.
