What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions for enterprise-scale mission systems.
  • Build and implement scalable data pipelines including transformation, validation, and error handling.
  • Develop AI-enabled data platforms using vector embeddings, similarity search, and RAG workflows.
  • Write advanced SQL and PL/SQL for stored procedures, complex queries, and performance tuning.
  • Manage geospatial data including vector and raster formats using Oracle Spatial.
  • Automate data processing tasks using Python and shell scripting.
  • Implement database security controls, auditing, and data governance protocols.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance with Poly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in database development, data engineering, or ETL/ELT development for enterprise-scale systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Database solutions with advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
  • Experience designing scalable data pipelines, working with geospatial data, and utilizing cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, containers, and Kubernetes for automation and data processing.
  • Working knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and secure data handling.
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community systems, Oracle Spatial, vector embeddings, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
