JOB TITLE: Agentic AI Senior Lead Data Scientist
The Agentic AI Senior Lead Data Scientist joins the Consumer Model Development CoE to lead the development and implementation of Generative AI and Natural Language Processing solutions for the Banking, Lending, and WIM divisions. This role involves leading a team of data scientists to design, develop, and deploy agentic frameworks, virtual assistants, and content generation tools. The successful candidate will translate business problems into technical solutions, providing mentorship and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key technical requirements include expertise in large language models, deep learning, and statistical analysis. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Google Cloud Platform is required. The work focuses on improving employee and customer experiences, driving operational efficiencies, and mitigating risks within consumer-facing applications in the financial services industry.
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Agentic AI and NLP/ML models for consumer-facing applications.
Translate complex business problems into technical solutions using advanced GenAI and machine learning methodologies.
Guide a team of data scientists by providing technical mentorship and project leadership.
Integrate AI solutions into business processes to ensure scalability, robustness, and operational efficiency.
Communicate model outcomes and the strategic value of AI initiatives to non-technical business stakeholders.
Ensure all AI model deployments comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
Drive end-to-end solution design for virtual assistants, content generation, and agentic frameworks.
What we're looking for
7+ years of Quantitative Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science.
Demonstrated expertise in leading Agentic AI projects from conception to production, including LLMs, Generative AI frameworks, and advanced NLP techniques.
Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Computer or Data Science (preferred).
Strong full stack agentic AI skills (preferred).
Strong background in GenAi/NLP, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis (preferred).
Proficiency in Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
Experience in the financial services industry, particularly within consumer banking, lending, wealth and asset management (preferred).
