5G PHY M&S Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, install, configure, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure problems to meet business needs.
• Develop and contribute to solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Debug and perform performance tuning of PHY layer implementations.
• Develop AI/ML algorithms for real-time signal processing.
• Test and validate 5G PHY layers using industry-leading tools.
• Ensure compliance with 3GPP specifications for effective implementation.
• Review and guide the activities of more junior employees.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in 5G NR/LTE PHY Layer development.
• Experience using programming or technical computing tools such as Python, C, C++, or MATLAB.
• Experience with GPUs for real-time PHY processing, optimizing signal processing, and system performance.
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning of PHY layer implementations.
• Experience in 5G PHY testing and validation using industry-leading tools.
• Experience developing AI/ML algorithms for real-time signal processing.
• Knowledge of 3GPP specifications, including 38.211, 38.212, 38.213, and 38.214.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of open source implementations, such as Aerial and OCUDU (preferred).
• Knowledge of networking, cloud, and wireless network concepts (preferred).
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
• Microsoft Certified Administrator or RHCS Certification (preferred).
• CCNA, CCNP, or 5G Certifications (preferred).
