What you'll do

  • Architect 5G cellular solutions incorporating Qualcomm System on Chip processors into U.S. Government applications.
  • Analyze and implement 3GPP standards to determine trade-offs in modem architecture design versus implementation.
  • Perform link budget, performance, and tradeoff simulations for novel solutions using Matlab and other tools.
  • Develop embedded modem firmware and software to support cellular systems.
  • Apply communication theory and signal processing expertise to analyze mod/demod, channel estimation, and MIMO techniques.
  • Create comprehensive system design documentation for government-focused technology projects.
  • Evaluate 5G NR protocol layers from L1 PHY through L3 upper layers across both network and UE perspectives.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • A current or active Top Secret (TS/SI) security clearance is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience for candidates with a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience for candidates with a Master's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience for candidates with a PhD.
