What you'll do

Take responsibility for AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products.
Build applications for both internal and external use.
Develop large-scale systems to improve the efficiency of the AMD Hardware organization.
Perform hardware automation, validation, and testing.
Execute ASIC design and verification tasks.
Work on system and board design, including circuit board layout and power design.
Utilize UNIX and JTAG tools for hardware development.

What we're looking for

You must be currently enrolled in a US-based university undergraduate program.
You must major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
You must be able to work full-time (40 hours a week) in a hybrid or onsite structure.
Knowledge or experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, or MATLAB is encouraged (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with ASIC design and verification is encouraged (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with ML and AI is encouraged (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with system/board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, or power design is encouraged (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with hardware automation, validation, test, UNIX, JTAG tools, or computer architecture is encouraged (preferred).
