Additionally, you will perform low-level testing and debugging across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments while utilizing lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to resolve technical issues.

What you'll do

  • Develop performance verification test plans, simulation test cases, and models with senior engineers.
  • Write Perl and Python scripts to track and manage compute resources.
  • Test regression flows using Perl, Python, MySQL, and PHP to support project development.
  • Evaluate new tools and processes to improve simulation performance and team efficiency.
  • Debug hardware/software features and perform Verilog or SystemVerilog coding improvements.
  • Build test platforms and execute system-level testing for high-end products.
  • Perform production validation tasks to ensure integrated hardware and software functionality.
  • Use specialized software tools to identify root causes of technical issues during low-level testing.

What we're looking for

  • Must be currently enrolled in a U.S. based university Bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and scripts such as C++, Python, C, Perl, Shell, or UVM (preferred).
  • Experience with Verilog and System Verilog (preferred).
  • Good understanding of digital systems and computer organization (preferred).
  • Ability to build a PC from components, install OS/drivers, and perform basic network configuration (preferred).
  • Experience in system level hardware and software design (preferred).
  • Proficiency in development and debugging within Linux, Unix, or Windows environments (preferred).
  • Knowledge of logic design fundamentals, transistor device behavior, and the use of lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers (preferred).
