The 2027 Masters Hardware Engineering intern/co-op joins the Hardware team to support discrete and embedded hardware products. What you'll do

Manage discrete and embedded hardware products in collaboration with engineering teams.
Build applications for internal and external use to support the organization.
Develop large-scale systems to improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware operations.
Perform hardware automation, validation, and testing tasks.
Support the design and verification of ASIC components.
Contribute to the development of pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms.
Apply knowledge of computer architecture to CPU and GPU projects.

What we're looking for

Must be currently enrolled in a Master's program at a US-based university.
Major must be in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, or MATLAB (preferred).
Knowledge of ASIC design and verification (preferred).
Knowledge of ML and AI (preferred).
Experience in system/board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, or power design (preferred).
Experience in hardware automation, validation, and test (preferred).
Familiarity with UNIX, JTAG tools, pre-silicon/post-silicon platforms, or computer architecture (preferred).
