What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and detailed specifications.
  • Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.
  • Identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform and document engineering test reports and conduct engineering analysis.
  • Resolve mechanical problems by applying engineering processes and principles.
  • Design and implement custom mechanical tooling and fixturing to facilitate part handling and assembly.
  • Oversee manufacturing and installation processes while ensuring adherence to industry standards.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree (or Master's) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Must be in good academic standing with a preferred GPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and provide new perspectives on existing solutions.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information while working to build consensus.
  • Must possess a flexible and adaptable mindset within a results-driven culture.
  • Previous internship or related experience in the field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in associations is preferred.
