What you'll do

Provide daily sustaining support by solving mechanical fitment, electrical, and software issues for product lines.
Integrate design for manufacturing best practices into the development process to facilitate transition from prototype to production.
Create technical documentation including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements for high-volume manufacturing.
Develop novel tooling solutions for the fabrication and assembly of structural parts.

Analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement in cost reduction, quality, and production capacity.

What we're looking for

A degree in a technical field such as engineering or manufacturing is required.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a relevant field like manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
Experience physically manufacturing hardware through machining, fabrication, soldering, or assembly is required.
Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments is required.
Proven in-kind or direct team leadership skills with backing examples are required.
Preferred experience includes building production operations from scratch and managing complex bills of materials.
Preferred expertise includes harness and PCBA fabrication or mechanical system design and analysis.
