What you'll do

Manage the transition of products from initial concept through prototype and into full production.
Provide daily sustaining support by resolving mechanical fitment, electrical, and software issues in real-time.
Drive design for manufacturing best practices during the development process with engineering teams.
Create essential manufacturing documentation including MBOMs, work instructions, process flows, and capacity analyses.
Analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding cost reduction and quality.
Coordinate with planning teams to define capacity actions that meet customer demand.
Travel to supplier sites to perform sourcing work and implement production procedures.

What we're looking for

Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
8+ years of experience in manufacturing or a similar position.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience physically manufacturing hardware through machining, fabrication, soldering, or assembly.
Proficiency in managing complex bills of materials for electromechanical products.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, machining, and 3D printing.
Experience with NX/Teamcenter software.
Experience in harness and PCBA fabrication or mechanical system design and analysis.
