Day-to-day responsibilities include investigating new techniques, customizing solutions, and authoring technical documentation or whitepapers. You will integrate technologies including IoT, OT, and Cloud security, Automation and Orchestration, identity and access management, conditional based access, attribute-based access control, and micro-segmentation. The role requires expertise in Zero Trust principles and experience with AWS, Azure, Oracle, or GCP cloud architectures. You will solve complex challenges by maturing cybersecurity capabilities for large federal organizations while navigating advanced cyber threats.

What you'll do

Lead the architecture and design of innovative cybersecurity solutions to protect federal networks.
Identify and implement methods to harden systems and reduce the attack surface.
Translate customer IT security needs into actionable plans for secure and effective solutions.
Integrate technologies including IoT, OT, Cloud security, and Automation and Orchestration.
Implement Zero Trust principles such as micro-segmentation and attribute-based access control.
Author technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts.
Develop high-quality implementation plans and roadmaps in collaboration with project and proposal teams.
Guide senior leaders to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation.

What we're looking for

HS diploma or GED.
5+ years of experience with IT operations or Cybersecurity with large federal organizations.
3+ years of experience with leading technical project delivery for large and complex organizations.
Experience architecting cybersecurity solutions.
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
Ability to guide senior leaders to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation.
Ability to author technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading Cybersecurity topics.
Secret clearance.
