Workforce Planning, Data Scientist, Senior Associate

What you'll do

• Design and develop Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Statistical models to solve complex business problems.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into formal mathematical formulations and modeling approaches.
• Select modeling techniques based on a principled understanding of problem structures and underlying assumptions.
• Develop and productionize rigorous AI/ML solutions for real-time inference and decision-making.
• Ensure the robustness and theoretical fit of all data science solutions.
• Communicate data-driven recommendations and solutions in an easy-to-understand way for stakeholders.
• Support AI/ML projects both independently and as part of a larger project team.

What we're looking for

• Master’s Degree with 3+ years or Doctorate with 1+ years of experience as a data science professional in a quantitative field.
• Experience supporting AI/ML projects with multiple team members.
• Hands-on experience developing statistical, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence models.
• Foundational understanding of the math and theory behind AI/ML algorithms to reason about model assumptions and limitations.
• Proficiency in data science programming languages like Python, R, or Scala.
• Experience with big-data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, and familiarity with SQL or Hive.
• Advanced expertise with Time Series and Operations Research techniques (preferred).
• Experience with NLP, NLG, Neural Nets, public cloud technologies, or leading complex cross-functional projects (preferred).
