WMS Product Analyst - IT LEAD serves as the technology lead and product analyst supporting warehouse management and distribution operations for the Memphis Logistics Center. This role is responsible for delivering business capabilities, ensuring operational stability, and managing product roadmaps for Warehouse Management Systems including MARC WMS and SAP EWM. The individual will translate business requirements into scalable solutions while overseeing automation, robotics, inventory management, and digital transformation programs. Key responsibilities include managing product backlogs, leading Agile delivery practices, and coordinating with 3PL providers to ensure system availability and regulatory compliance. Required expertise includes warehouse management systems like SAP EWM or Blue Yonder, along with skills in business analysis, project leadership, and technical writing. The role addresses complex logistics challenges such as inbound receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and cold chain operations within a regulated distribution environment.
Manage the product roadmap for warehouse management systems including MARC WMS and SAP EWM.
Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions, user stories, and functional specifications.
Lead the development and delivery of new WMS capabilities, integrations, and system enhancements.
Oversee system availability, performance reliability, and root cause investigations for production issues.
Identify and implement process improvements through automation, robotics, and AI-enabled technologies.
Manage product backlogs and drive Agile delivery practices with engineering and testing teams.
Coordinate with 3PL providers, software vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Ensure all warehouse technology solutions comply with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Warehouse Management Systems, or Distribution Operations are required.
Experience supporting WMS platforms such as SAP EWM, SAP WM, Blue Yonder/JDA Körber/STEPLogic, Trace Manhattan MARC WMS, or equivalent solutions is required.
Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics business processes is required.
Experience leading product, business analysis, or technology delivery initiatives is required.
Ability to translate business requirements into process flows, epics, user stories, and functional specifications is required.
Experience supporting Agile and Scrum methodologies is required.
