The WMS Digital Software Engineer joins the team to design, develop, and deliver modern software solutions supporting Warehouse Management Systems and Distribution Center operations. This role focuses on building digital applications, APIs, integration services, and event-driven architectures while connecting modern solutions with an IBM i (AS400) environment. The engineer will manage the full development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and root cause analysis to ensure system reliability. Key technical skills include proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, or PHP, along with experience in SQL, REST APIs, and microservices. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn RPGLE and CLLE. Design, develop, and manage software solutions for Warehouse Management Systems supporting distribution centers.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 4 years of professional experience in software development with exposure to enterprise-scale systems.
Hands-on experience using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PHP.
Experience designing, developing, or consuming REST APIs and implementing service-to-service integrations.
Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, software integration patterns, and microservices-based architecture.
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and version-control workflows.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and application monitoring.
Willingness to learn RPGLE, CLLE, and the IBM i (AS400) legacy environment; experience with these or event-driven systems is preferred.
