As a Wireless Systems Engineer within the System RF organization, you will join a hands-on development team focused on wireless accuracy and performance. What you'll do
- Perform cellular, WiFi, and GNSS performance testing and analysis.
- Characterize antenna performance metrics including TRP, TIS, Efficiency, and SAR.
- Conduct throughput testing and application-specific wireless performance evaluations.
- Optimize wireless algorithms based on research findings and user impact assessments.
- Analyze baseband logs to root cause complex wireless performance issues.
- Research how environmental factors and interference impact the end-user experience.
- Drive system-level design and architecture changes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
What we're looking for
- Master's degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cellular, WiFi, or GNSS technologies.
- Experience with test automation.
- Proficiency with Python and fluency with AI tools (preferred).
- 3+ years of industry experience in RF and/or wireless systems (preferred).
- Experience working on physical layer wireless algorithms (preferred).
- Strong background in wireless communications (preferred).
- Experience capturing and analyzing baseband logs to root cause performance issues (preferred).
