What you'll do

Analyze software benchmarks and applications to identify specific performance optimization opportunities.
Implement software optimizations to meet performance criteria without increasing power consumption.
Develop and enhance analysis tools and instrumentation to identify performance gaps.
Debug complex technical problems across hardware, OS, compiler, and driver layers.
Define performance optimization strategies for Windows on Snapdragon desktop devices.
Act as a technical lead to own project outcomes and guide senior technical members.
Resolve complex issues involving ambiguous requirements and multi-layered system architectures.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Master's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
At least 4 years of Software Engineering experience focused on Power/Performance.
Proficiency in C/C++ and ARM assembly language.
Strong familiarity with ARM architecture, CPU microarchitecture, memory, and bus architecture.
Experience with Windows OS, Visual Studio/LLVM compilers, and Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA) tools.
