The Web Interface Software Engineer joins the Software Engineering team to support the development of MANET radios and advanced research projects. Candidates should also possess experience in mobile friendly web interface development, with preferred knowledge in UI test automation and C programming.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and improve the web interface for StreamCaster radios.
  • Build and manage network management software for radio systems.
  • Develop applications that run directly on Silvus StreamCaster radios.
  • Create mobile-friendly web interfaces for various hardware applications.
  • Perform backend development using Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Test web interfaces and network software to ensure operational reliability.
  • Participate in advanced research projects related to MANET and MIMO communications.
  • Set up and perform field tests and demonstrations of radio equipment.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in JavaScript, HTML, and Python backend development.
  • Experience in mobile friendly web interface development.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident).
  • Experience in UI test automation (preferred).
  • Experience with C programming (preferred).
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to perform bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting movements.
