Vice President, Applied AI & Architecture

What you'll do

• Define and evolve the applied AI strategy and technical roadmap to support commercial priorities.
• Design the target architecture connecting AI capabilities, commercial data, enterprise platforms, and user workflows.
• Establish architectural patterns and standards for scalable, secure, and reusable AI solutions.
• Create frameworks for evaluating AI use cases, technologies, vendors, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Provide technical oversight and design reviews for major AI initiatives to ensure feasibility and alignment.
• Drive the reuse of common AI components and services to prevent technical duplication across the portfolio.
• Embed responsible AI principles, including privacy, security, and human oversight, into all solution designs.
• Build and lead a team of senior applied AI architects and technical experts.

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data, enterprise architecture, software engineering, or technology strategy.
• Significant senior leadership experience shaping technical direction across a large, complex, and matrixed organization.
• Deep expertise in applied AI, including generative AI, agentic systems, machine learning, retrieval architectures, evaluation, and observability.
• Proven experience defining enterprise or domain-level AI strategies and target architectures.
• Demonstrated success translating complex business transformation priorities into technical strategies, roadmaps, and solution designs.
• Experience establishing architecture standards, technical decision frameworks, and governance across multiple teams or business domains.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data, cloud, platform, application, integration, cybersecurity, and software-engineering considerations.
• Work authorization in the United States.
