What you'll do

  • Deploy and sustain VectraAI sensors, collectors, and metadata pipelines in on-premise networks.
  • Integrate VectraAI with on-premise SIEM, SOAR, EDR, packet brokers, and other analysis tools.
  • Engineer physical and virtual sensor placement using SPAN ports, taps, and packet brokers.
  • Manage network routing, VLANs, packet capture, and metadata transformation processes.
  • Configure systems to meet STIG-aligned requirements and secure baseline operating guidelines.
  • Build monitoring dashboards, perform sensor health checks, and develop performance tuning workflows.
  • Ensure reliable telemetry ingestion and high threat detection fidelity for operations teams.

What we're looking for

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Must possess 5+ years of experience with on-premise network engineering or cybersecurity platforms.
  • Must have experience deploying NDR platforms in physical or virtual data center environments.
  • Must have experience with packet analytics tools such as Zeek, Suricata, Arkime, or Endace.
  • Must have experience with Linux engineering and system operations.
  • Must have knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, NetFlow/IPFIX, and metadata pipelines.
  • Must meet specific education and experience combinations: HS/GED with 7+ years, Associate's with 5+ years, Bachelor's with 3+ years, or Master's with 1+ year of IT support experience.
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III and CSSP-IS certifications within 30 days of start date.
