The VectraAI Cloud-Native Engineer joins the team to design, integrate, and optimize VectraAI Detect and Recall while supporting telemetry pipelines across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms. The engineer will build scalable data ingestion pipelines, develop microservices for metadata enrichment and alert processing, and implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation. Key responsibilities include integrating with SIEM, SOAR systems, identity platforms, and Zero Trust controls while optimizing workloads for performance and security. Required technical skills include experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, API-driven pipelines, and packet analytics tools like Zeek or Suricata. The role addresses the challenge of high-availability security analytics integrations within cloud environments, requiring expertise in networking, traffic mirroring, and streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
Architect and deploy VectraAI Detect and Recall integrations within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
Build and maintain scalable cloud-native data ingestion pipelines using managed services and container orchestration.
Develop microservices for metadata ingestion, enrichment, and alert processing.
Integrate VectraAI with cloud SIEM, SOAR systems, identity platforms, and Zero Trust controls.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation for repeatable deployments.
Optimize cloud workloads for performance, security, and high availability.
Create dashboards, runbooks, automation scripts, and monitoring strategies for cloud environments.
What we're looking for
Must have 5+ years of experience in engineering with cloud architectures such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Kubernetes or cloud container platforms is required.
Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and API-driven pipelines is required.
Experience with VectraAI Detect and Recall, or NDR platforms, is required.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM is required.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to take a polygraph exam.
Must meet specific education and experience combinations: HS diploma with 7+ years, Associate's with 5+ years, Bachelor's with 3+ years, or Master's with 1+ year of IT experience.
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III and CSSP-IS certifications within 30 days of start date.
