Cloud Engineer As a Cloud Engineer, you will join the team to build, deploy, and manage a cloud-agnostic platform for a multi-tenant environment. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions while ensuring the seamless operation of cloud-native applications. The role focuses on developing next-generation cloud-native infrastructure specifically designed for the intelligence community. To succeed, you must possess experience managing Kubernetes clusters—including orchestration, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting—alongside expertise in AWS environments. You will utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Terragrunt. The technical stack includes Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang for scripting, alongside Linux server management and CI/CD pipelines. Additional tools include Rancher, RKE2, ArgoCD, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Pulumi, and Crossplane to solve complex infrastructure challenges within a secure, high-stakes environment.

What you'll do

Build, deploy, and manage a cloud-agnostic platform for multi-tenant environments.
Manage Kubernetes clusters including deployment, orchestration, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Terragrunt.
Design scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions for cloud-native applications.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux server systems within the AWS cloud environment.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to streamline deployments.
Manage monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Prometheus.

What we're looking for

Experience developing, deploying, and managing applications within AWS.
Experience managing Kubernetes clusters including deployment, orchestration, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Terragrunt.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
HS diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date.
Experience with scripting or object-oriented programming in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang (preferred).
Experience with Linux systems, CI/CD pipelines, and various cloud tools like ArgoCD, Grafana, or Pulumi (preferred).
