As a VDI Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph, you will join the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to deliver secure, reliable virtual desktop capabilities for critical government missions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Provisioning, and Virtual Apps/Desktops in large-scale environments. Your daily work involves engineering and supporting Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop solutions across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments while performing Tier 3+ troubleshooting and root cause analysis. You will utilize PowerShell or Python for automation and manage VDI lifecycle documentation. The role requires expertise in Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, App Layering, ELM, Windows Server 2019/2022, and Windows 10/11 SOE imaging. You will solve complex technical challenges to secure and optimize enterprise-scale virtualization platforms within a high-security national security operations context.

What you'll do

Design, implement, and sustain Citrix XenDesktop, NetScaler, and Provisioning in large-scale environments.
Engineer and support Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop solutions across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Automate infrastructure processes using PowerShell or Python scripting.
Perform Tier 3+ troubleshooting and root cause analysis for VDI infrastructure issues.
Optimize and secure enterprise-scale virtual desktop platforms to ensure mission reliability.
Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and lifecycle management records for VDI systems.

What we're looking for

Must be a United States citizen.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (e.g., Security+, SSCP, GSEC, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience designing, developing, maintaining, and testing desktop virtualization infrastructure.
Experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 10/11 SOE, and scripting in PowerShell or Python.
SQL Clustering Failover (preferred).
US Citizenship.
