What you'll do

Lead the design and delivery of scalable platform capabilities and cloud-native architectures.

What we're looking for

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
Experience in building software to solve data operational problems at Walmart scale.
Experience in Agentic AI development and operations.
Strong experience in software development lifecycle management, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
Proficiency in API design, software prototyping, and applying software design patterns for maintainable and modular solutions.
Skilled in DevOps engineering, infrastructure as code, and cloud automation to enhance platform capabilities and developer productivity.
Ability to mentor and lead engineers, fostering technical growth and promoting engineering/operational excellence.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area (preferred).
Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
