What you'll do

Develop highly scalable backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and reactive frameworks.
Design and develop integrations with next-generation downstream applications on an event-driven platform.
Execute catalog migrations to new platforms and manage NextGen upstream integrations.
Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information and engaging support teams.
Perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences of system issues and ensure compliance.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including design documents and code.
Conduct unit testing and perform performance tuning for distributed systems and offline storage.
Implement GenAI-driven testing frameworks and data pipelines to improve platform efficiency.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and 2 years of software engineering experience.
Alternatively, must have 4 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Must have experience with Java and building Java-based backend systems.
Must have experience building microservices using Spring Boot and reactive frameworks like Spring WebFlux and Project Reactor.
Must have experience with internet-scale distributed technologies such as Solr, Kafka, and Mem Cache.
Must have experience with cloud-based solutions and CI/CD tools including Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
Must have experience with NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB or Cassandra and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Must have a strong understanding of CS fundamentals, multithreading, networking, and distributed systems.
Must have experience with GenAI best practices, including AI-powered code analysis and performance monitoring (preferred).
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area (preferred).
Must have knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
