What you'll do

Design and develop high-performance, scalable catalog services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Build integrations with next-generation downstream applications using an event-driven architecture.
Troubleshoot critical production issues and perform root cause analysis to implement preventive solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical designs for medium- to large-scale cross-functional projects.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Manage catalog migrations and maintain system reliability across distributed systems.
Stay updated on GenAI trends to contribute to innovative software solutions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of software engineering experience.
5 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Expert knowledge of Java 21, Spring Boot, REST services, JPA, Kafka, AMQ, Azure, CI/CD, Maven, Concord, Cassandra, Solr, GCP, Hive, BigQuery, AI agents, MCP, and LangGraph.
Experience building microservices using Spring Boot and reactive frameworks like WebFlux and Project Reactor.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud platforms, and NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB and Cassandra.
Deep knowledge of J2EE, multithreading, networking concepts, Spark engine, and performance tuning.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices including monitoring.
Master's degree in a related field and 1 year of experience (preferred); knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards (preferred).
