The (USA) Senior, Software Engineer joins the Transportation team to develop high-scale, resilient applications supporting the supply chain. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality code while integrating AI and machine learning components to enhance platform capabilities. You will own the delivery of scoped features, participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and manage the full software development lifecycle including testing and deployment. What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot based applications, and microservices.
Expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance software solutions.
Demonstrated skills in solution design, technical leadership, and applying scalable, maintainable design patterns.
Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
