JOB TITLE: UI Engineer Hybrid North Carolina As a UI Engineer on the Circuit team within the AI and Automation portfolio, you will develop modern web experiences for a central AI engine powering productivity and process automation. You will design and build responsive, high-performance front-end interfaces for AI-driven workflows, including conversational UIs, streaming responses, prompt management, and data-rich dashboards. Your daily work involves translating Figma designs into accessible, component-based interfaces while integrating with REST APIs and building Node.js services. You will utilize Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON data structures to create functional user experiences. Additionally, you will deploy web front ends and services on Google Cloud Platform using Git-based version control and Agile methodologies to solve complex technical problems regarding AI-driven business transformation and functional quality.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain responsive web applications for AI features using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, accessible, and component-based user interfaces.
Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and build supporting Node.js services or BFF layers.
Build, package, and deploy web front ends and Node.js services on Google Cloud Platform.
Maintain reusable UI libraries that align with the company's design system and accessibility standards.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and repeatable software releases.
Debug and resolve UI issues in both development and production environments.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, Master’s degree with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of related experience in Computer Science or a technical field.
3+ years of experience building and troubleshooting web applications using Angular, with proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Hands-on experience developing server-side functionality with Node.js and integrating applications with REST APIs and JSON data structures.
Demonstrated ability to translate Figma designs into component-based, design-system-aligned UI using modern architectures.
Proficiency in deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform and working within Git-based version control and Agile methodologies.
Experience building web-based AI applications such as LLM/chatbot/agent UIs or streaming responses (preferred).
Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar (preferred).
Familiarity with GraphQL, unit testing frameworks like Jest, or containerized environments like Docker (preferred).
