Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop functional, clean code and unit tests following Design Thinking Principles and secure coding practices.
• Create technical design documentation and contribute to end-user guides.
• Perform code reviews to optimize for scale, velocity, reliability, and security through threat modeling.
• Debug software issues in production environments and lead postmortems and root cause analyses.
• Lead projects from end-to-end and contribute to defined software engineering roadmaps.
• Mentor peers and junior team members by sharing knowledge through formal and informal channels.
• Identify and recommend improvements to the software development lifecycle and Agile practices.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's plus 7 years of related experience, a Master's plus 4 years, or a PhD plus 1 year.
• Must demonstrate the ability to write clean, functional code and perform unit testing using secure coding practices.
• Must have proven experience managing the software development lifecycle, including debugging production issues and conducting code reviews.
• Must be able to perform threat modeling and lead root cause analysis.
• Must be able to lead projects end-to-end, mentor team members, and partner with product management and design teams.
• Proven experience working with AI-native frameworks and integrating machine learning capabilities into enterprise applications (preferred).
• Proficiency in architecting, deploying, and managing scalable workloads across hybrid cloud environments (preferred).
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation tools in an Agile environment (preferred).
