What you'll do

Lead the project engineering sub-team for large-scale strategic capital projects.
Drive project schedule, execution, risk management, and reporting for the engineering team.
Perform economic analyses and feasibility studies to meet financial targets and business objectives.
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining controls for cost, scope, and schedule.
Design and lead complex experiments to develop solutions for novel or complex technical problems.
Develop execution strategies including procurement and integration of regulatory and operational needs.
Act as the primary technical contact on contracts and serve as a subject matter expert.
Mentor team members by sharing technical expertise and providing guidance on engineering methodologies.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field is desired, or equivalent technical experience with demonstrated competence.
8+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience are desired.
A post-graduate degree is desired and may contribute toward the required years of experience.
Demonstrated competency with financial systems and fiscal control.
Proven ability to manage complex projects involving risk assessment, cost, scope, and schedule controls.
Strong technical knowledge to solve problems involving multiple competing factors and provide expert advice to management.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and negotiate differences in a fast-paced environment.
A technical background in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biologics is preferred.
